Deliveries to the Highlands and islands are coordinated\nwith specialist onward carriers with customer approval. However, we do have the capabilities to make specialist loads with sensitive goods such as spirits, cars and documents, as well as other dry goods..<\/span><\/p> Edmondson’s operate a single depot in Morecambe with good\naccess to the M6 and M62, linking the north and south of the UK and providing quick\naccess to the east of England. Similarly, we are a stone\u2019s throw from H<\/strong>eysham\nport<\/strong> for goods shipping out to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Our depot is a secure site with single access through an\nautomated barrier and on-site security team. The site is protected 24\/7.<\/strong> We\nemploy a regular warehouse team that is experienced in handling furniture and\nable to modify their procedures to meet manufacturers and retail demands on how\ngoods need to be handled. <\/span>The majority of our drivers and porters have been with\nEdmondson’s for many years. Their first-hand knowledge and experience in handling\nfurniture and routing across the UK and Europe only strengthen and improve the\nservice we offer. <\/span><\/p> Established in 1948, we have over 70 years\u2019 experience in\ndelivering excellent customer service across the UK as well as importing and\nexporting with many European countries.
